How to Install Stock Firmware on Huawei Smartphone. The Chinese original equipment manufacturer Huawei’s EMUI skin, which comes with a slew of enhancements and features, is now available for Android handsets. It goes without saying that each stock firmware is too good and stable to operate the official devices pretty admirably. Now, when it comes to Huawei devices, consumers may find it difficult to utilize them for longer periods of time due to performance issues, glitches, frame drops, lags, app errors, battery draining, low memory, and so on. Stock Firmware is a bloatware-free or minimally bloated operating system that is specifically created for each and every model to run the hardware and applications flawlessly. However, an unsupported or defective file might sometimes have an impact on the device’s performance and functionality. Let’s get started now, without further ado.

Pre-Requirements:

  1. This manual is intended solely for Huawei users.
    To try any Stock ROM, you’ll need a MicroSD card or enough internal capacity.
  2. A Micro SD card with at least 8GB of storage space should be available. It is suggested that you use a Micro SD card from Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax.
  3. Make sure you have adequate battery power to complete the upgrade. It is advised that the battery’s power be greater than 30%.
  4. Upgrades have the potential to wipe out all of your user data. So, if you have any sensitive data, you should back it up before upgrading. To back up your phone, see the Complete Backup Guide.
  5. Before flashing, you should unzip the SDupdate_Package.tar.gzfile, and get out UPDATE.APP to do upgrade operation on your SD Card.   8. There are two methods to upgrade your phone. One is a Normal upgrade and Force Upgrade

What are Normal Upgrade and Force Upgrade?

To perform a standard upgrade, turn on the phone and go to the System Update module. Force upgrades are only used when the phone won’t turn on or enter the idle screen.

So, let’s get started with the upgrade procedure. First, we’ll walk you through the Normal Upgrade Process.

  1. First and foremost, obtain the Update Package (recommended): Micro SD card should be formatted (This operation is optional).
  2. Unzip the Update.zip file and copy the whole dload folder (including UPDATE.APP) to the Micro SD card’s root directory.
  3. Now on your phone, open the dialer and call ->enter: *#*#2846579#*#* ->ProjectMenu->Software Upgrade->SDCard Upgrade->OK,

4. Select the Update. an app that you already saved to your SD Card (root directory).

5. The installation process will now be displayed on the screen.

Force Upgrade

  1. First and foremost, obtain the Update Package (recommended): Micro SD card should be formatted (This operation is optional).
  2. Unzip the Update.zip file and copy the whole dload folder (including UPDATE.APP) to the Micro SD card’s root directory.
  3. Turn off your phone after copying the Update. the app.
  4. Make sure your phone is switched off.
  5. Now hit the VOLUME UP and DOWN keys, followed by the POWER key, to turn on the phone and enter Software Upgrade Mode.
  6. When the progress bar reaches the end, the phone will immediately restart.

7. To Update the Data File, You can follow the Normal Upgrade.
